Winow: Wine to drink now

What’s the idea behind this webshop?

Welcome to Our Shop

Winow Wine has a passion for Wine and we like people to enjoy the full potential.

Winow Wines sells quality wines. These quality wines need time and rest to develop their rich taste and aromatic profile. Unfortunately they often are drunk too early, not at their best, because winemakers need the cellar space and wine shops can’t afford to wait till the wine is at their full taste potential.

Winow Wine wants to sell the wine only when it is within it’s drinking window so that a customer can rely on that the wine is at it’s best when they open it and they don’t have to keep the wines at home in often not optimal storage conditions.

The wines we offer are bought at the winemaker or at large importers that are known for storing the wine at the right conditions. At Winow Wine the wines are stored in high quality wine cabinets with the right temperature, humidity and no disturbing influence of light.

111,00 INC. VAT The 2021 Suduiraut emerges from a brutal vintage in which yields were just one hectoliter-per-hectare, which translates into 500 cases. A rich, exotic Sauternes, the 2021 possesses mind-blowing intensity. Tangerine oil, mint, pineapple, white flowers, caramel and light toast notes soar out of the glass. Even with all of its concentration, this maintains tremendous freshness and tension. What a wine.

More savory than expected, the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino Montosoli opens with a blend of rose petals, damp earth, sage and dried strawberries. It rushes the palate with sweet cherry-berry fruits and spice, all guided by juicy acidity. This finishes remarkably fresh with a hard red candy and licorice tinge that lingers.

  •  29,00 NO VAT (private collection) The Pinner dazzles with its pink-tinged, golden-amber color and bouquet of dusty dried flowers, young mango and crushed stone. There are depths of silky textures here, carried across a medium-bodied frame while neatly contrasted by zesty acids and minerals. Ripe orchard fruits and cooling herbal tones resonate from start to finish, yet the end note here is lip-smacking sour tropical citrus. The Pinner is a varietal Pinot Noir, but not technically a Rosé, which takes its color from spending nine months sur lie in stainless steel with daily bâtonnage. - Eric Guid0
