In the glass at the border you see a colour transition to pomegranate red. If you give it a little air by swiveling, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which is reflected in clear stained glass windows on the edge of the glass. In the nose, this red wine from Stefano Accordini reveals all kinds of plums, blueberries, most must, black cherries and black currants.
In the mouth, the Vigneto Il Fornetto Amarone Classico Riserva by Stefano Accordini opens deliciously aromatic, fruity and balanced, and despite its dry flavour profile, this red wine delights with a delicate melt and elegantly integrated residual sweetness. In the mouth, the texture of this powerful red wine is deliciously full. Thanks to the vibrant fruit acids, the Vigneto Il Fornetto Amarone Classico Riserva is exceptionally fresh and lively in the mouth. The aftertaste of this red wine from the Veneto wine region, which can mature very well, is a pleasure with a nice aftertaste.
Vinification of the Vigneto Il Fornetto Amarone Classico Riserva by Stefano Accordini:
This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. The Vigneto Il Fornetto Amarone Classico Riserva is a wine from the Old World in the best sense of the word, because this Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly emphasises the success of wines from the Old World. The fact that the Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes thrive under the influence of a warm climate also has a major influence on the ripening of the grapes. This results, among other things, in particularly well ripe grapes and a fairly high alcohol percentage in the wine. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand when they are optimally ripe. After the manual harvest, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a maturation on the fine willow for several months before the wine is finally tapped.
